In Depth Musical Theatre Training Program

Audition-Based Entrance

StageCoach The Company is an in depth musical theatre training program for dedicated young performers ready to deepen their skills in acting, singing, movement, ensemble creation, and theatrical production. Designed for students with previous theatre experience, The Company students train, create, and perform together as an ensemble while participating in two productions each season.

​

Program Includes

• Advanced acting and character development

• Vocal training and musical theatre performance

• Choreography and physical storytelling

• Ensemble creation and devised theatre

• Production and design training

• Audition and industry skills

​

Students will perform in two productions annually:

Winter Studio Production
A self-devised, site-specific theatrical production collaboratively created by the ensemble.

 

Spring Mainstage Musical
A full musical theatre production featuring professional adult performers supporting alongside students.

​

Creative Process

Students participate in all aspects of production including:

• Staging and storytelling

• Set and scenic concepts

• Props and costume creation

• Ensemble collaboration

• Technical theatre fundamentals

​

Program Expectations

Students are expected to:

• Attend consistently. Attendance at a all classes and technical rehearsals leading up to a show are mandatory.

• Arrive prepared and memorized

• Commit fully to productions and rehearsals

• Support fellow ensemble members

• Participate in additional Saturday rehearsals and production days as performances approach

Parent support and volunteer participation are required.
