Theatre Seekers Instructor (5-7 years)

Qualifications:
Training in Theatre: A degree/diploma or certifcate in Theatre, Performing Arts, Drama Education, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatre, with a strong background in acting, directing, or stage management.
Working with Kids: Previous experience working with children in an educational or theatrical setting is essential.
Skills: Excellent communication, creativity, patience, and the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
Clear Criminal Record Check.
Job Responsibilities:
Teaching: Creating and implementing individual programs in conjunction with the AD and current programming.
Deliver engaging theatre classes appropriate to the classes age groups
Monitoring conduct and behavior
Creating a piece for the Annual Show
Mentoring: Provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of our theatre curriculum, incorporating new techniques and practices to keep our programs innovative and exciting.
Inclusivity: Dedication to providing a safe space for all children regardless of ability, cultural background, ethnicity, race, faith, gender, gender expression, gender identity, ideology, income, or sexual orientation.
